The Story Behind My Photography
Photography is a deeply spiritual endeavor for me. As I capture moments of beauty and wonder, my heart is filled with gratitude for the Creator. I often reflect on what it must be like to imagine the smallest details and the grandest landscapes—and then bring them into existence.
Every image on this website begins with one of my original photographs. Over the years, I have created thousands of images, and I can still remember where I was and how I felt when I pressed the shutter. Each photograph represents a moment of appreciation, gratitude, and reverence. Every click of the camera is, in its own way, my homage to the Savior.
One day, after showing a friend a photograph of dark, almost biblical storm clouds rolling across Antelope Island, she smiled and said, “All you need in that photo is Jesus.”
I realized she was exactly right.
That simple conversation opened a floodgate of inspiration. I began carefully creating AI-enhanced images that portray Jesus observing and sharing in the beauty of the world around us. Using my own photographs as the foundation, these artistic creations reflect how I imagine the earth might appear when viewed through the Savior’s loving presence.
As a result, I created two distinct collections. The Landscape Collection features my original photography, while the Faith Collection showcases my AI-enhanced images. I believe it is important for visitors to understand the foundation of my work, and I also recognize that not everyone is seeking religious imagery. Some photographs in the Landscape Collection do not have counterparts in the Faith Collection. Not every image lends itself to the creative requirements of these enhancements, but every photograph celebrates the glory, beauty, and wonder of God's creations.
